There are many different types of biker groups that raise money for charity in various ways.

Most common cash raising ideas seem to be bike runs such as egg runs, toy runs, poker runs and around the world in 40 seconds runs etc. along with your raffles, auto sales, auctions, bike shows, rallies and many more!

Money raised is given to all kinds of deserving causes, be it an individual cause or for a large organisation such as here in the UK, a local air ambulance service or children's hospital etc.

Rainbow Trust Children's Charity provides emotional and practical support to families who have a child with a life threatening or terminal illness. Rainbow Trust's Family Support Workers join the family in their own home and are there to provide practical support. We are contactable 24 hours a day for families in crisis from diagnosis, through treatment and even after bereavement.
Rainbow relies almost entirely on voluntary donations and through the generosity of our supporters we are able to help around 1,000 families a year.

Aspire - Supporting people with Spinal Injury
Spinal Cord Injury has a devastating effect on the 1,200 people who become paralysed each year.
The individual affected will lose muscle and sensory control and the vast majority become full time wheelchair users for the rest of their lives.

Motorcyclists ride to France in aid of spinal injury charity Aspire
On Saturday 12th June 2010, around 250 people met at Eurotunnel in Folkestone to commence the Aspire D-day Ride Out weekend – riding via Eurotunnel to Le Touquet in France and raising over £10,000 for spinal injury charity Aspire in the process.
This was the third annual D-day Ride Out organised by GB Riders, Knobblies and EuroK club, and was the first time raising money for Aspire.
People who would like to support Aspire can join the Bikers to Beaulieu Charity Ride on 4th September which is also raising money for Aspire. The Ride Out will go from Boxhill to Beaulieu Motor Museum in Hampshire. For more information and to sign up visit: www.justgiving.com/beaulieu
